Human Connection and the Mind Body Experience

Does your mind wander in savasana? Have you ever struggled to take a full deep breath? Do the directions “let go” or “think positive thoughts” seem easier said than done at times?
There are many aspects of the yoga practice that can feel frustrating and discouraging which can make it difficult to be present or even show up on our mats. When we can understand these normal barriers and bring context to our experiences, we can work to soften our judgment and find meaningful connections in the human experience. This workshop will bridge yogic and mental wellness concepts and incorporate pranayama and asana to improve the mind body connection both on and off your mat. Come with any range of subtle curiosity to a full open heart to explore how these concepts are impacting you.
